I bought this comforter about 3 months ago and am a very happy customer. This is definately a good purchase. I love it. It isn’t too hot for my boyfriend but it is warm enough for me. The comforter is a quality product and I would recomend this to a friend. We spend so much of our lives in bed, why not enjoy every second?

Review for full/queen, medium-warmth comforter.
I’m a little disappointed with the comforter for two reasons. 1. A full/queen comforter doesn’t exactly fill up a queen-sized comforter. I would have ordered king but the over-sized would have been too big. My mistake for not searching for a queen-sized, I guess, but the reviews said it puffed up beautifully. Which brings me to reason 2. It’s rather thin. My old comforter was fluffy and made the bed look soft and inviting. With the new comforter, it looks rather flat. I’m not sure why other reviewers have been pleased with loft, but I’m not. Yes, it’s warm enough, but for appearances I’m giving it a 3-star review.

Good comforter, extremely warm. It fluffs up once out of the box, had no problems with losing feathers. The only flaw is that some of the baffle boxes have less feathers than others, probably about 5-10% of them. Also it’s at least 75% down.

[Review for "Extra Warmth" version in a queen size]
This comforter was purchased to replace a 10-yr old “baffle box” type construction comforter that was originally purchased on sale at a department store. It was of medium quality and served us well, but had an annoying tendency to shift to the edges. Every few days I had to pull it off the bed and shake it violently to re-distribute the down filling that would fall to the edges that were hanging off the sides of our queen sized bed.
The first thing I noticed about this comforter is that once it plumped up, its fill volume was much better than the (more expensive) department store unit it replaced. We stuffed it into a new duvet cover and were immediately impressed at the loft and softness that it added to the bed. After three months of use, it has stayed very plump and we have not had any down shifting, nor any stray down feathers floating around the room.
Several reviewers here have commented about being “too hot” in this comforter. While we have not slept through a summer in it yet, I can say that it has been just about perfect for us. Until we added thick new flannel sheets, that is! Once we did that, we had to remove a thin “liner blanket” that my wife loves because of the color – it was much warmer than our previous comforter, which has been wonderful.
We live near the beach in central California, and while the temperatures rarely stray below the 40’s at night in the dead of winter, the marine air can be very cold and chilling (in fact I’m sitting here in my home office feeling chilly despite the thermostat reading 68 degrees…) We sleep with the windows open over our bed most nights and this comforter has been just perfect for our climate – we turn our thermostat off every night and when we wake up in the mornings it is usually in the mid-to-upper 50s in the bedroom.
The only disappointment with this comforter has been regarding size; it does not have much overlap when put on a queen sized bed. If we place it length-wise (I assume the intended orientation) we got good toe-to-head coverage with the ability to tuck the bottom in, but it would barely hang over the sides of the bed, causing dreaded “cold air leakage” in the middle of the night. We re-oriented the comforter to get a good 5 or 6 inches of overlap on each side, but now the top comes up to about chin height if the bottom is tucked in a bit – not enough for folding the top back “hotel-style”
All in all, a great value, perfect for a climate where it is in the 40s at night and you sleep with the windows open (and aren’t wearing fuzzy bunny pajamas with feet). It would get 5 stars for value and performance if not for the size shortcomings.

This comforter is the best one I ever had. It is light but very warm and holds it’s shape. Better than the old feather ticks that were hand made by my grandmother and mother years ago.

It seems like I was send a second hand comforter. It was dirty and dusty. It looks more brown than white. The case in which it came, doesn’t seem as if that was the original. There was no picture and no receipt. The comforter was just thrown in a bag then into a box. Then, on top of that, they took 2 and 1/2 weeks to send it out. I am very unhappy with this purchase and would like to return it. I guess that u get what u pay for, indeed.
