It should be stated up front that I am in San Antonio so my perspectives on what is “cold” may not be the same nationwide. Having said that I would call this more of a down blanket than a down comforter. It’s not as poufy as what I associate with comforters, but none the less it’s very warm and snuggly.
Now I’m not sure if it’s MY cat or if all cats will react this way but the second I took the thing out of the packaging (which by the way Amazon seriously? It’s bedding not fine china! It won’t break!) he was ON it. He now refuses to get out of bed in the morning, whereas he used to follow me around watching me get ready for work. I half convinced that it’s not stuffed with feathers but with catnip!
All in all for the money it’s not a bad buy. It keeps me warm and it very soft and loverly!

I am sooooo disappointed in this product. First off it is too short for our bed. I ordered the king size, and if what I got was king, than it must have been labeled wrong. Feathers comes out of the comforter and it has an odor. Very, Very, disappointed. If sending this product back was not such a hassel, that is exactly what I would do. Think twice befor you purchase this product.
